Anupa Mehta Contemporary Art (AMCA) located in Colaba on the Mumbai Art Mile supports international mid-career contemporary artists. For the past 16 years the gallery has been recognised for its cutting-edge experiential shows.
With over three decades of varied work experience as editor, curator, art consultant and gallerist, Anupa Mehta is trained in journalism and arts management. Founding editor Art India magazine, she is the author of INDIA 20, a book of interviews with leading contemporary Indian artists. Anupa has lent curatorial support to several institutional projects. A columnist for three Indian newspapers, she has edited art books and written catalogue text for Indian artists. An ATSA fellow, Anupa has been the recipient of various grants and fellowships.
